Recording in my home-studio with an analogue synth. Really fat, according to me it's good for dark dubstep or d'n'b. Good fun.

I used one of the trilobyte waveforms with a saw shaped fm being applied to it two octaves higher with a bunch of crazy filters.

Was messing around resampling a guitar recording and it got a little out of hand, in a cool intense glitchy way //cc0.

This sound was created with layering and frequency processing. Bpm 100.

A wobble or "synth growl" i done did in caustic 3 on the saw synth. Used a pulse wave, flange & phaser, then a couple pitch layers in post. √π ∆ π√.

Dubstep bass: 110 bpm wobble at 1/8th note, half of the samples as a sine lfo and saw lfo descending. Sampled in ableton using massive, compression using psp compressor2. Random presets with lfo settings on key parts, and very little other effects used, mostly so this sample can be re-sampled. 110 bpm so it can be pitched up which is usually better then having to pitch samples down.

Created with csound, this is an emulation of the yamaha tx81z synth creating an fm tone, with an lfo filter.

Can be used for one shots, fillers or even wavetables. Perfect for dubstep and riddim songs!.
